Sando leverages its methodologies, toolsets, knowledge and experience to deliver optimum and effective advice and solutions to our clients. We have first-rate subject matter experts; moreover we access an extensive network of additional specialists through our close relationships with several hand-picked niche and global consultancies.
Sando is motivated by a core principle of assisting client organisations to continually improve, grow and prosper through the provision of the highest-quality services and deliverables. We embody the central attributes of honesty, integrity, dedication and diligence in all that we do.
Recent successes:
- Negotiations - at a household-brand firm with EBIT in excess of $1.6 billion per annum, we conducted a robust review of the vendor arrangements and identified several operational and commercial improvements. We subsequently renegotiated contracts to mitigate the client’s risk exposure and reduce annual expenditure by $15 million.
- Negotiations - We were instrumental in resolving a potential compliance dispute between an ASX50 company and a global IT corporation. We proactively devised and implemented a win-win outcome based on market economics and the alignment of joint motivations forthe parties.
- Negotiations - at a well-known Australian resources firm we crafted a bespoke enterprise IT arrangement that increased license flexibility and improved the risk-sharing balance. This allowed our client to reduce asset management costs and to increase efficiency through the adoption of cloud-based services.
- Negotiations & Strategic Tenders – On behalf of a specialist social media firm, Sando constructed the commercial and legal response to a $3.5 million strategic tender issued by a multi-national telecommunications company. Our client was selected as the preferred tenderer and we then negotiated the resultant contractual arrangements which involved unique payment and IP options underneath a ‘partnering’ relationship.
- Strategic Tenders – Sando Australia collaborated with a well-known global consultancy to augment the evaluation techniques used in relation to a large competitive tender. We extended and deepened the quantitative RFP evaluation model to account for opportunity, hidden and implicit financial elements to ensure tenderer selection was based correctly on a deep holistic view of economic profit.
- Strategic Tenders & Business Optimisation – Sando employed monte-carlo simulation techniques to allow a client to forecast potential RFP responses (i.e. bid prices) from its main competitors within the Australian maritime industry. This model assisted our client to tender optimum winning bids that maximised profit margins.
- Business Optimisation – At a 1000-employee company with export routes to over 70 countries, we designed and implemented a customised capital-budgeting methodology. This empowered our client to optimise its business through the identification, ranking and selection of opportunities that delivered realisable value-for-money under pressured budget constraints.
- Business Optimisation – Sando successfully designed a unique sales forecasting model that utilised multiple feeds of POS data to predict future sales at independent store locations across Australia. This model was used to optimise inventory and minimise distribution costs at one of Australia’s largest logistics companies.
